Fees & payouts
What Creve charges, what you receive from each ticket, and when your money is paid out.
Creve Marketplace: Creve collects
Creve takes the payment for you and pays your share out to your bank or M-Pesa.
| Creve fee | 5% of each paid ticket. Paid by you, out of the ticket price. |
|---|---|
| Added to the buyer's price? | No. The buyer pays your ticket price and nothing on top. |
| Card and M-Pesa processing | Included in Creve's fee. No separate charge to you or the buyer. |
| Free tickets | No fee. |
| Payouts | No transfer fee: each withdrawal is paid in full. |
Example: one ticket at KES 2,000
- The buyer pays
- KES 2,000
- Creve fee (5%)
- −KES 100
- Card or M-Pesa processing
- included
- You receive
- KES 1,900
If a ticket is refunded in full, Creve's fee on it is not charged. A partial refund doesn't change the fee. Some organizers have their own agreed rate; theirs is shown in their dashboard and in their collection mandate.
Creve White Label: you collect
KES 1,500 a month, and no Creve fee on ticket sales. Payments go straight to your own Paystack account, and Paystack pays you out on its own schedule. Paystack charges its processing fees to your Paystack account under your agreement with Paystack; Creve takes no part of them.
When Creve pays you out
For money Creve collects (Creve Marketplace).
| Money becomes available | Straight after each sale |
|---|---|
| How you're paid | You ask for a withdrawal from your wallet; Creve checks it and pays it. |
| Payout time | Not published yet. Your wallet shows each request's status. |
| Before your first payout | Your account must be verified. |
What can delay a payout
- Your account verification isn't approved yet. Creve pays out only to verified organizers.
- Every withdrawal is checked by Creve before it's paid, and one that needs more information waits for it.
- A payout the bank or M-Pesa rejects (for example, wrong account details) is marked failed; correct the details and ask again.
- Refunds and chargebacks come out of your balance. If one arrives after a sale's money was paid out, it's taken from what you earn next.
Refunds follow the Refund & Cancellation Policy. See also the plans.
